DALLAS – Feb. 4, 2025 – Atmos Energy is helping its customers stay warm this winter season by allocating $1.5 million to nonprofit agencies across the eight states it serves. These funds in partnership with nonprofit organizations will provide relief for Atmos Energy customers who need help paying their natural gas bills, past-due debt, deposits, and service charges.

“We are committed to supporting our neighbors in need, an essential part of Atmos Energy’s Fueling Safe and Thriving Communities initiative,” said Nira McNealy, Atmos Energy manager of public affairs. “As the winter weather hits, we want to provide support and funds for our customers experiencing financial hardship, helping them access the reliable natural gas they count on to keep their homes warm. Partnering with Found A Way allows us the opportunity to provide our communities immediate and easy access to funding.”

Out of the numerous agencies Atmos Energy supports, Found A Way received $125,000 from the total funds. This donation will allow the organization to bridge the gap between energy providers and low-income households.
